The twelfth InnoTrans 2018 will take place from 18 to 21 September 2018.
InnoTrans is organized by Messe Berlin.
InnoTrans is the leading international trade fair for transport technology and takes places every two years in Berlin. Sub-divided into the five trade fair segments Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, InnoTrans occupies all 41 halls available at Berlin Exhibition Grounds. The InnoTrans Convention, the event’s top-level supporting programme, complements the trade fair.
A unique feature of InnoTrans is its outdoor and track display area, where everything from tank wagons to high-speed trains are displayed on 3 500 metres of track.

European Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc is inviting Ministers, Members of the European Parliament and key stakeholders to Ljubljana to discuss how to contribute to smart, sustainable and safe Mobility, relying on the trans-European transport network and investments in transport connectivity.
The TEN-T Days will also host an idea accelerator and futuristic lab, to allow young European entrepreneurs and companies to showcase innovative mobility solutions. There will be a high-level Interinstitutional meeting to discuss further synergies between transport, energy and digital connectivity, and the investment support with highest EU value-added in the post-2020 framework, leading to a Ljubljana declaration by all relevant stakeholders on key principles for investment in smart, sustainable and safe mobility. Among the high-level events, there will be Ministerial sessions with Western Balkans and Turkey, and with Southern Mediterranean countries.

The Transport Research Arena is the European research and technology biennial conference on transport and mobility held from 16 to 19 April 2018 in Vienna.
TRA 2018 will be run under the theme “A Digital Era for Transport – Solutions for Society, Economy and Environment” and will look at all modes of transport including rail, as well as with their interaction in an intermodal European Transport System.
For the railway aspects being addressed at TRA 2018, the Austrian organisational team is supported by UIC, UNIFE and UITP on behalf of ERRAC.

Following on from the 12th ERTMS World Conference held in in Brussels in February 2016 the 1st UIC GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON SIGNALLING will be hosted by FS Group at the MiCo Congress Centre in Milano from 26–28 March, 2018.
Under the theme ‘The Evolution of ERTMS‘, the conference will address a range of topics related to Signalling, Traffic Management and Radio Communications, with a special focus on a number of emerging ‘game changers’.

The 6th International Railway Summit will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, in the very heart of Europe. Major railway projects, including the proposed Dresden - Prague high speed line to be part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), will keep the Czech Republic at the centre of Europe's rapid development in rail transport, and the region's desire for greater connectivity and collaboration.
